Police Clamped Down on Lady Boy Gangs In Pattaya

Pattaya police have yet again clamped down on lady boy gangs, teenagers and aliens on Pattaya beach after they were notified by tourists that they were offering prostitution and tried to rob foreigners.

PATTAYA – June 26, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 04.00 am. Pol.Lt.Col.Kowit Sawasdeemongkol-investigation inspector of Pattaya police station-, Pol.Lt.Col.Tanawin Kaewwongsiang-investigation inspector- and Pol.Capt.Netithorn Rattanasuchanan-deputy investigation inspector of Pattaya police station- led a police and soldier team to clamp down on lady boy gangs in Pattaya who target foreigners on Pataya beach road and entertainment venues in walking street. They also clamped down on teenagers who were loitering in and around beach road.

 

The officers arrested 35 lady boys, 10 prostitutes, 3 Cambodians, 4 Laos and 8 women and a man from Madagascar who were then all taken to Pattaya police station in order to inspect their criminal record and to prosecute them for prostitution. Also they arrested a woman who was wanted by a court in Lopburi for robbery.

 

Pol.Lt.Col.Kowit revealed that they had been informed by tourists that lady boy gangs and women were walking the streets and on beach road were offering sexual services, plus they had tried to rob tourists belongings especially the lady boy gangs who always targeted foreigners, therefore the officers where sent out to clamp down on these gangs.
