Police Arrest Human Trafficking Gang

Immigration police have caught and arrested a Thai woman who had operated a human trafficking syndicate by sending Thai girls to the United Arab Emirates to become prostitutes.

NAKHON RATCHASINAMA – July 22, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- immigration police were led by Pol.Maj.Gen.Chatchai Eiumsaeng-commander of immigration office- to arrest Mrs.Kritsana (Muan) Yingthaworn aged 51 who had a warrant for her arrest for human trafficking. She had been running a human trafficking syndicate in many areas around Thailand and foreign countries from April to 6th August 2010. Nakorn Ratchasima immigration police and officers of the anti-trafficking committee had cooperated together to arrest her at a house in Nakorn Ratchasima.

 

The suspect and 5 other people had fooled Thais girls to become prostitutes in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Previously officials from the United Arab Emirates had clamped down on illegal whorehouses and assisted the Thais girls in getting back to their home country. The girls then complained to the police that they had been fooled by the Thai woman who the police had arrested.
