According news source, Thailand has become the place for those paedophile suspects who have come to hide either in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket.

Last year, Thai police arrested John Mark Karr, a murder suspect of Jon Benet Ramsey and sent him back to the United States.   Karr also possessed child pornography in the US.  He was arrested in a run-down hostel in Bangkok.  Last week, Thai police also ended a global manhunt with the arrest of a Canadian paedophile, Christopher Neil.

Major-General Wimol Powintara, head of the child crime police said that he has held more than fifty pictures of white males with names provided by German police. Obviously, there are more of these foreign suspects hiding in Thailand.

“These are men, young and old, who love to have sex with little boys,”

“I have no objection if they have sex with anyone aged over 18, but don’t do it on our little children who are the future of our country,” Wimol said

These paedophiles use the agent to lure children to their rooms by promising them easy money and computer games.

“The most difficult part of putting suspects behind bars was to convince abused children to testify against the suspected paedophiles”

“Without the cooperation of the children, police can’t prosecute these paedophiles,” Wimol said.

Even if the children would agree to testify in court, but the suspects usually bailed themselves out and paid to those children to change their testimonies or not showing up.

“With their influence and money, it is almost impossible to put them in jail,” said one of Wimol’s officers who declined to be identified.
