Mr.Wongsawan or ‘Om Jomtien’ told police that he only carried drugs for his own personal use, was not a major distributor and the rented room at the resort was used as a temporary place for him and his girlfriend to stay.

Officials from the Anti-Money Laundering Office have investigated and questioned, both, the suspect and the resort in order to gather evidence for use in solving the case.

Officials have thoroughly searched the residence of Mr. Wongsawan, in Soi 3 of Jomtien on the Beach Road, as they believed that drugs where hidden within. However, there were no signs of any illegal substance. Officials of the Anti-Money Laundering Office have investigated all of Mr. Wongsawans assets and belongings and found that he is owner of a car, which the police believe he bought with the proceeds from the sale of drugs. The car was confiscated for further investigations. The investigations continued with the questioning his parents and relatives.

The officials concluded that Mr. Wongsawan a.ka. Om Jomtien, is a major drug distributor in Pattaya , with a large circle of friends and sellers . The police have kept a record from their continuous investigations, monitoring and collection of data as evidence for the sentencing of Mr. Wongsawan, after he previously disappeared after putting up his own bail money.

All items that have been confiscated will be used as evidence against Mr. Wongsawans, while investigations will continue, as police believe his friends and agents are still trafficking drugs in Pattaya. The police are determined to catch all dealers in order to combat drug trafficking.
