Mr. Somchai, a brother-in-law of Mr. Thaksin, said that his trip to the Phillipines’ capital of Manila was scheduled earlier and was not linked to a rumour that Mr.Thaksin was to travel to the Philippines.

“The revoking of the visas is the decision made by the British government. We cannot criticise,” said the premier.

Meanwhile, Mr. Somchai called for all Thais to participate in the three days of national mourning to bid a last farewell to the late Princess Galyani during November 14-16 and asked all sides to put any conflicts on hold during the period.

The Prime Minister Sunday boarded a helicopter to visit flood-hit central provinces of Ayutthaya and Ang Thong to monitor the latest situation and to supervise the assistance to flood victims. (TNA)
