Pick-Up Truck Flips Over

A pick-up truck which was being driven at high speed lost control hit a taxi before flipping over onto its roof.

PATTAYA – March 22, 2015 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 12.30 a.m., Pol.Lt. Phootthiphong Chuenchom (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) was notified that there was an accident involving a pick-up truck and a taxicab. There were 2 injured at the scene. The incident occurred in front of the Siam Commercial Bank, central Pattaya branch, Sukhumvit road, entrance route to Chon Buri province, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chon Buri province, so he rushed to inspect at scene together with the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation, Pattaya city.

 

At the incident the officers found a black pick-up truck Masda BT 50, license no. Phor Thor – 4700 Chon Buri, which was on its roof blocking the road. There were 2 injured victims inside the truck who were identified as : Mr. Jaknarai Piyaphong, aged 33, who was the driver he had an injury to his right arm, and 2. Miss Phatcharin Jula, aged 31, who had sustained an injury to her face. The rescuers performed first aid on them before taking them to Bangkok – Pattaya hospital.

The taxicab which was also involved in the accident , license number Thor Mor – 9724 Bangkok, it had sustained damage to the rear end and the driver who was identified as Mr. Somyos Rueangsanthia, aged 49 was unharmed. He told the police that that pick-up truck lost control and crashed into the back of his taxi before it flipped over onto its roof.

 

The 2 injured victims weren’t saying anything about the accident so Pol.Lt. Phootthiphong Chuenchom (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) took photographs of the incident and will inspect the CCTV in the area to find the real cause of the accident.
