PEACH was The Venue for The 27th TEMCA Seminar & Exhibition 2011

Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) a prominent feature of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group was again the selected venue for Thai Electrical & Mechanical Contractors Association (TEMCA) 27th Seminar & Exhibition 2011, over the weekend of the 19th – 20th August 2011.

TEMCA consists of parties established to promote the conducting of enterprises and businesses in connection with installation, product and distribution of electrical appliances, electronic, communication instruments and mechanical devices. The association also supports and assists member to remedy obstacles and monitors the movement of trade markets within the international and local scenes.

More than 1200 delegates from the 4 regions of Thailand participated in this event and were accommodated at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group. The event which included 2-full days of meetings, exhibitions, arranged meals, and a get-to-gather dinner was to provide TEMCA members with the awareness and an insight into the latest innovations and the advance development in the area of global change for both the public and private sectors. This event also touched on the various problems that may occur to our planet in the future and how these changes may affect the association’s members in their job scope.

TEMCA’s President Mr. Chirdsak Vitooraporn together with his association members, Vice President and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Taksin Watcharawittayakul and Chief Advisor, Dr. Prasat Chandrathip welcomed the Guest of Honour, Mr. Pongsakorn Tantiwanichanon, Deputy Governor of Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) during the opening day of the event.

The property’s General Manager, Mr. Joachim Grill was at hand to present the ‘Green Certificate’ to Mr Chirdsak Vitooraporn. The ‘Green Certificate’ is awarded to selected organizations for having taken great steps in helping to safeguard the environment, and help reduce global warming by opting to have their event at PEACH. The event resulted in the reduction of many emissions, pollution and use of natural resources following the ‘Initiative on Green meeting’, the extensive and heavily implemented environmentally friendly initiatives and policies in place at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group and PEACH which have already served to improve the local environment and community.
