PATTAYA-Recently- [PattayaDailyNews] at Mr.Rattanachai Sutthidecahnai- direct or Pattaya tourism and culture association- had together discussed with the PBTA about New Year exhibition in Pattaya.

Pattaya Countdown 2016 will be held from 29-31 December 2015 at Bali Hai pier. However, Pattaya Countdown 2015 will have activities for only 3 days this year unlike a week in previous years.

Officials had discussed the space for exhibition because alcohol is prohibited on public area. However, the officials are afraid that this prohibition might affect the atmosphere of the exhibition.

In addition, hoteliers had decided to cancel the Gala Dinner packages for foreigners. As a result, it’s expected that the foreigners would hang out on the local street and the prohibition of alcohol wouldn’t be appropriated.

Mr.Sinchai wattanasartsathorn- director of PBTA- said that there are a lot of foreigners in Pattaya; therefore, they would like the officials to come to allow alcohol in the exhibition area.
