Pattaya Vows To Strictly Control Transportation

Officials discussed to follow-up progress of management of marine-land transportation.

PATTAYA – January 20,2017 [PattayaDailyNews]; at Pattaya City Hall, Mr Chaowalit Saengutai, deputy governor of Chonburi, and Col Pobanan Luangpanuwat, deputy chief of Military circle 14th, chaired the conference to manage South Pattaya pier.

 

In the conference, the officials discussed about the progress of the project after the official has brought back the area from the operators since November 2016. Pattaya city has 97 million that to renovate the area.

 

The official will develop the pier and crate park, they now have layout of the project and they are looking for the operator who will be responsible in this project. It’s expected that the construction take around 6 months. Plus, the official guaranteed that the renovation will finish before International fleet review in November 2017.

 

Col Pobanan said that marine department will strictly manage and control marine traffic and the official will also move assembly point.

 

In addition, the official gives 30 days for the operator to find the way to move their boat on local road without tractor.

 

Col Pobanan added that the law to control transport operator will be effectively on 1 February, then the drivers must drive on their route only and park on provided zone.

 

Plus, the officers will intensely crack down those blacked taxi who serve passengers in department store because these drivers don’t register with the official and they have to right to operate.
