Pattaya Vows To Eliminate Illegal Vendor

Pattaya municipal officers cracked down street vendor after they disobeyed strict rule to sell things on road and other restricted areas.

PATTAYA – September 12,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; Mr Setthapol Boonsawas, director of Pattaya beach management, was accompanied with municipal officers to inspect beaches in Pattaya after the official was reported that some vendors illegally sold goods.


Mr Stthepol said that the official intensely aims to control street vendor in order to keep clean in area and reduce traffic problem. However, the official is still complained about street vendors who sold their goods on road and other public area.

Even though the official campaigned and issued strict rules, some vendors disobey the rule and still sell goods on road. This kind of issue is pending for a long time and it is actually difficult to solve. In addition, these vendors are backed by capitalist.


The officers could arrest some vendor and confiscate some goods because some vendor ran away; however, the official confirmed to fine those who break the strict rule at highest rate of fine.
