Pattaya Daily News had reported about the project to renovate the road condition and to lay new drainage pipes. The project was over scene by the Chonburi provincial office with a budget of 7,564,200 baht and they had started constructed in February 2013 and Promyothakarn Rayong was the contractor. They constructed the road from MabYaiLea alley to Labla road which was 680 meters and the road width was 7.50-8.50 meters. The road was now completed. The road is now completed but reporters had inspected it and found many problems such as the foot path and the large amount of pot holes which had appeared because the edge of drains were not in the same level. The work that was carried out by the contract was very bad and that’s why now all the problems are coming to light.

Another problem is that is the level of footpath is higher than the house ground floor which caused rain water to flow into the houses the owners had to pump it out. In addition some people had raised their house floor levels.
