Pattaya Teenagers Shot By Rivals

Two male teenagers have been shot and injured by a rival gang after they had been arguing at the Pattaya Countdown 2015 concert.

PATTAYA – December 28,2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 3.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Yom Phormsart (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station, Chon Buri province) was notified that there was a shooting incident involving 2 teenage gangs and there were injured victims who had been sent to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya and Banglamung Hospital. The incident occurred at the beginning of Soi Sukhumvit 53, Sukhumvit road, central Pattaya, so he rushed to inspect at scene together with the detective police team.

 

Upon questioning a male vendor nearby the incident point, he told police that there was a group of male teenagers riding 6-7 motorbikes out of Soi Nern but when they arrived at the flyover suddenly there was 3 gunshots so he and his customers fled for their lives but 2 of the teenagers had been shot and were rushed to hospital.

The police then went to the emergency room at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya were they found Mr. Vee (alias), aged 15 who had been shot in his left leg. After that the officers went to Banglamung hospital where they found Mr. Thanakorn or Oat Sa-yarm Phosuwan, aged 18, who had also been shot but the bullet only scrapped his nape. Upon questioning a friend of the victims he said that while they were heading home after watching the Pattaya Countdown 2015 concert they decided to stop for food in Soi Nern but when they arrived at the beginning of the Soi suddenly there were 2 culprits riding a red Honda Wave 125, red license plate who were wearing helmets with jean pants and long sleeved black jackets rode up to them and started shooting at them before fleeing the scene. He added that on December 25th 2014, they were at Balihai cape, Pattaya, and they had argued with another group of teenagers so he believes it may have been a revenge attack.

 

After investigating and inspecting at scene then the police checked the CCTVs nearby the incident to find the identity of the 2 gunmen so they can be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
