Pattaya Teenagers Escaped From Gun Crazy Jealous Boyfriend

Pattaya teenagers escaped with their lives after a crazy jealous boyfriend followed after them shooting at hem several times damaging their pickup truck. The incident was caused because one of the teenagers was looking at his girlfriend in the Monkey Pub on Pattaya 3rd road.

PATTAYA – January 7, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 3.50 a.m. while Pol. Lt. Kwanchai Namkhanitsorn (Investigation police on duty of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was performing his duty at Pattaya city police station then there were 3 male teenagers drove their bronze Toyota Vigo pickup truck, license number TOR HOR-7161 Bangkok, the pickup driver named Mr. Krittaphong Phuphakdee or Keaw, aged 23, together with his friends rushed to notify Pol. Lt. Kwanchai that they had been chased and shot at several times damaging their pickup truck . After inspecting the pickup the police found that the windshield had been shot with an unknown size bullet and the right front wheel had been hit 3 times but the 3 victims were not injured.

Investigated Mr. Krittiphong or Keaw, he said that before incident occurred he and his friends were drinking at the Monkey Pub on the side of the third road whilst drinking he saw the good looking female teenager at a nearby table so he stared at her but he didn’t talk to her because she was sitting drinking with a group of male teenagers. After they finished drinking Mr. Krittiphong and his friends walked out from the pub but suddenly the boyfriend of the female teenager walked up to them together with 3-4 of his friends and threatened Mr. Krittiphong and his friends with a gun because he was jealous that Mr. Krittiphong stared at his girlfriend so he apologised to her boyfriend but he punched Mr. Krittiphong’s in the face so he and his friends ran to get into their pickup truck and drove away to escape. But that man chased after them shooting at his pickup truck several times until it got damaged but fortunately t he and his friends were not injured so they rushed to notify the police for assistance.

Initially, the investigation police on duty ordered the patrolling police officers to inspect the scene to find clues of the shooter but they had already fled the scene. The police will follow up any clues to arrest the shooter and prosecute him further according to Thai law.
