Pattaya has set up more than 83.9 Millions Baht budget for the 1st stage as a sustaining fund for year 2006. Teamwork with the Analyst and Development Institution of Tanyaburi Ratchamogmol Technology University, who are expert in windmill shall proceed with the construction.

Currently there is an increase need of energy for consumption and usage. Electricity power that produced from fuel is rather expensive base on the rise and fall of the oil price. With the possibility that the price will go up higher. The government has come up with a resolution to manufacture conversion energy in order to reduce the importation of oil.

The 1st stage installation of Electric Current Manufacturing System via energy from wind and sun will be on Koh Larn around the Samae Beach.the project installation on the 1st stage will be as follows:

1.Construction and installation of Ray fish building, as a tourist attraction and as exhibition hall on Koh Lan Island.

2. Manufacture and installation of wind mill and electrical system with voltage of 200 Kilowatts.

3. Construction of control building for the operation of wind mill

4. Decorate the scenery around the wind mill beautifying it to draw the tourist’s attention.

Installation usage system from the electricity manufactured by the wind mill.

Project duration will consume 300 days after signing of the contract. Electricity current to be produced will be up to 200 Kilowatts per day, usage for waste water treatment and lighting.

At the onset a study for the 2nd stage is being made through wind direction. The study would be on the hill without forest, at least with 116 meter long and 56 meters wide. When this study is complete, Koh Larn will have electricity power up to 700 Kilowatts per day, which could be useful for treatment of waste water, manufacturing electric current and most important is to render quality and best service to the community and TOURISM as well….
