Pattaya Rescue Find Missing Electrician Asleep At Home

An electrician who went swimming in the sea after getting drunk was reported missing by his friends. The rescue teams searched for him in rescue boats for over 4 hours until a neighbor called them and said he was at home asleep.

PATTAYA – August 24, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 8.30 p.m., the police of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province, and The rescue teams of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city, together took a rescue boat with a light to inspect the sea off Jomtien beach in order to find the body of Mr. Nithun or Pu Prakenkhacha, aged 40, who is an electrician. He had gone fishing on Jomtien beach with his friends and also drank beer at 6 pm.

 

After a while Mr. Nithun was drunk and decided to go swimming in the sea. After a short while his friends went to look for him but couldn’t find him. Therefore, Mr. Nithun’s friends thought that he had drowned and informed the sea rescue. The rescue teams and frogmen then searched for Mr. Nithun where he was last seen but couldn’t find him.

After about 4 hours and over 20 officers they still couldn’t find him until they received a phone call from hid neighbor saying that Mr Nithun was asleep in his room. When the officers when to see him he had no idea that The rescue teams were searching for him. Upon questioning him he told police that he was very drunk and decided to go back home without telling his friends and apologized to everybody as he had made them extremely worried about him.
