Noppadol Wongnorm and his police team revealed they had arrested a suspect Mr. Rithirong Glinkajorn (22) or “Top” , residing at 3/31 Moo. 9 Nongplalai, Banglamung for the brutal shooting ofMr. Arisman Yamunsapidrin (19). They also arrested his friend Mr. Grienggrai or Geng Sukkasem (20) who is a third year student at a technical college.

Police found evidence including a 9 mm gun and 82 bullets, two magazines, a red Honda Wave 125 CC motorbike with no number plate, his t-shirt (the one he wore on the day the crime occurred) and 1350 tablets of Yah Bah.

Police explained that it was very dangerous when trying to arrest this suspect because, according to their information, he has a gun with him all the time. The arrest took place at room 306 of an apartment in Aao-U-dom, Sriracha. Police had to break into the room through the window while he was sleeping.

Mr. Rithirong confessed that he shot the victim on the 6th November because he did not like the way he acted and danced. He described it as “an invitation to fight”. He followed the victim and his girlfriend out of the bar and then continued to follow on a motorbike driven by his friend, Mr. Komgrit or Film Wongsuwan, who managed to escape.

When they got to the Golden Gym, 200 metres from the third road intersection he pulled out the gun and shot the victim 5 times before speeding away. His accomplice had run away to the South.

Mr. Rithirong said he also was hired by Mr. Ray Naklua to deliver Yah bah to customers, which he had to pick up at the apartment where the police found him.

Pol.Col.Noppadol Wongnorm said the suspect has three serious cases on police files and he was a very close friend of Mr. Krisada Ponpaipal, alias “Tao Pachajeen”, a notorious Naklua gang member, who was shot dead on 21st October while he was riding his motorbike with his girlfriend. Police assume this murder was a revenge attack or linked to drug dealing

Mr. Rithirong has been refused bail since the case is very brutal and the media are watching closely. Mr. Grienggrai, the student was also arrested, and was charged for possessing Yah Bah. At 3.00 pm on the same day police took the suspects for a reconstruction at the crime scene during which the father of the victim attempted to attack the suspect while the mother fainted
