Pattaya Police Arrest Gamblers At a Well-Known Beer Bar Complex

The Special repression police of Pattaya police station arrested more than 10 gamblers who were caught in the act as they gambled amongst the beer bars at the entrance walking street.

PATTAYA – April 7,2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 02.00am special suppression police forces, of Pattaya police station, led by , Pol.Capt.Netitaorn Rattanasuchanan, vice suppression inspector raided and arrested more than 10 dice gamblers at the bear complex next to the Pattaya bear garden at the entrance to walking street moo 10, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi, after it was reported that gambling was taking place.

At the crime scene the police found sat around a pool table in the beer bars more than 10 gamblers encircled playing a dice gambling game so the police circled them and tried to arrest them but some of them jumped into the sea to escape and some were too fast for the police and got away on foot. The police seized the dice gambling equipment and the few who didn’t manage to escape and took them and the evidence to Muang Pattaya police station for further questioning.

From questioning the suspects they confessed that they had played the illegal dice gambling for long time . Most of the beer bars’ staffs and the taxi motorbike riders would play after they had finished work of had free time. After initial questioning the police sent them to the detective officers to be prosecuted further.
