Lots of local people helped and donated money to a boy who had to work instead of his disabled father.

PATTAYA- Recently- [Pattaya Daily News] previously, MR.Aekmongkol Samerpak 10 year old had to draw for customers and sell artificial flowers in Thepprasit market in order to earn money for his family after his father suffered an accident at work disabling him.

 

On 31 January, the reporters went to meet the boy again and they also found his family consisted of Mr.Suthep Somphon aged 47 national petanque disabled athlete who was his father, Mrs.Methinee Samerpak aged 29 his mother who was aphasic and his 2 year old sister.

Mr.Suthep said that he suffered an accident from working then his 2 legs were disabled. Later he had to sell artificial flowers and that he earned 500 baht each day and 200 baht was taken for the costs. Nowadays, they lived in his relative’s house in Rayong province but they lived in another relative’s house in Chonburi temporarily. He suffered backache and he couldn’t walk so his son had to work instead of him.

 

MR.Aekmongkol said that the people supported and helped him more after the reporters reported his story. Previously, they all went to sell the goods and he had to take care of his sister but he now had to work alone because his father couldn’t walk. He used to study in Bangphra school before moving to Samutphrakarn province. He had to rent a room and he had to sell goods on Friday and Saturday. He aimed to be musician in the future. The reporters added that it rained on that day but the local people still donated some money for him and his family.
