1.EIA of “Waterfront Suites & Residence Pattaya” which has 315 rooms with 35 floors had been approved by the committee of Pattaya on 17th March 2008, even though the companies researching the project insisted that the building would cover the view of Phratamnak hill.

2. According to Thai law, the building which is over 24 meters or 8 floors cannot be constructed by a road which is 7 meters in width. However, the building has 53 floors and was still approved.

3. Also the project was illegal because the building had been constructed on a public area.

4. Nowadays, a new contractor is in charge of the project and they changed the building into 300 rooms for the Condominium and 120 rooms for the hotel.

Also they changed the name to “M Gallery Waterfront Pattaya”. According to the rule, the operator needed to perform a new EIA because they changed the building plans after constriction.
