Pattaya Officials Dismantle Yin Yom Beach House

Pattaya officers have dismantled Yin Yom pavilion after the house had gone into disrepair after being damaged by a storm over a year ago.

PATTAYA – July 10, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 11.00 am Pattaya officers had already dismantled Yin Yom Beach House on Phra Tamnak Soi 5 after the house had been derelict for a year.

 

Villagers had complained to Pattaya officers to renovate the pavilion after the house had been damaged by a storm. However, no agencies had looked into solving the problem. The latest is that Pattaya officers had ordered to dismantle the house and they are going to rebuild and restore the soil underneath which has been eroded by the water.

Mr.Chaowalit Praditpruek-head of the dismantling team- revealed that previously they had received complaints from tourists that Yin Yom pavilion was in a sorry state and needs repairing. He also added that there was no plan to construct a new pavilion within the 600 million baht budget for renovating Jomtien beach. It’s expected that the work will be finished before July 30th.
