Pattaya Officials Crack Down On Drugs In Shipyard

Soldiers and police have inspected a shipyard in Bali Hai to crack down on illegal drugs, weapons and other contrabands. Upon inspection they found some drugs and also 10 males failed a drug test.

PATTAYA – August 30 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 06.00 am at Pattaya police station Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station- and Maj.Nopporn Singhasut-representative from the 14th military circle- had led a team of 40 officers to inspect a shipyard in Bali Hai pier in order to crack down on weapons and drugs.

 

Upon inspecting the officials found some drugs in a labour room. Plus the officials had performed drug tests on 50 labours which 10 males failed the test. Initially the officials took them to Pattaya police station in order to prosecute them.

 

Pol.Col.Suppatee revealed that the officers needed to inspect according to the policy of the NCPO. They aimed to reduce crime in specific areas and also the officers would like to ask the public to notify the police immediately when they witness any kind of crime.
