Pattaya Official Vows To Continue Flyover For Disability Person

Pattaya official insists to continue construction of flyover for disability person although they are sued by some operators who are affected from the building.

PATTAYA – Recently [PattayaDailyNews]; DRR, department of rural road, approved the budget to construct a flyover for disability person. However, some operators disagree and oppose the project and they are suing Pattaya official. They claimed that they need safety in their business functions and they propose to change the place.


At Pattaya City Hall, Ronnakit Aekasingha, deputy mayor of Pattaya, chaired the conference to discuss about flyover construction and public and private sectors attended the meeting. Plus, around 100 disability persons came to Pattaya City Hall to support the official.

The official narrated the detail of the construction that the official aims to accommodate and keep safety for the people. The elevator would be installed in the flyover for easiness of disability person and older person. Nevertheless, the problem is concrete wall which affects operator billboard.


Even though the official had already revised building plan by using glass elevator in order to not affect to the operator, the official was also opposed the project.

Ronnakit added that Pattaya sees that the project is very useful for the people so they requested DRR to allocate the budget to build the flyover. Plus, the official also make a poll and most people agree the project.


Pattaya official insists that they would continue the construction for Pattaya people.
