Pattaya Official To Kick Off Tourism Package

Pattaya officials and concerned sectors are to launch a Pattaya Tourism Package to promote Pattaya. The package is to offer tourists the ability to access the latest tourist information via their smart phones or computers.

PATTAYA – March 25,2015 [PattayaDailyNews]; At The Zign Hotel Pattaya, Mr.Itthipol Khumpluem-mayor of Pattaya- chaired the opening ceremony of the Pattaya Tourism Package and Ms.Suladda Sarutilawan-director of TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) Pattaya branch, Mr.Sanpetch Supbawornsathien-president of the Eastern hotel association-, Mr.Sinchai Wattanasartsathorn-president of PBTA Pattaya : Pattaya Business and Tourism Association-and Ms.Chatda Apichasutthakul-president of TSEP (Thailand Software Export Promotion) had attended the ceremony.

 

Mr.Itthipol revealed that Pattaya officials had met with the TAT, Eastern hotel association, TSEP, and PBTA to launch a prototype project called the Pattaya Tourism Package in order to promote a good image of Pattaya to stimulate the changing tourism industry. They aimed to promote 4 major points 1. More Nature 2. More Colours 3. More Business 4. More Life.

Mr.Itthipol added that the officials aimed to set up a Digital Marketing Tool to provide information and packages on the internet so that tourists can easily access the information via their smart phones or computers.

 

The tourism industry needs to adapt to the changing market and the new demands of the tourist . Therefore the Pattaya Tourism Package is a prototype project to prepare the readiness of hoteliers, and transport companies before it goes viral. Also the officials would like businesses in Pattaya to join the project in order to promote Pattaya as a world class holiday destination.
