Pattaya Official Raids Koh Lan

Pattaya officers went to Koh Lan island for crackdown. The officers focus to raid on alien labor.

PATTAYA – March 11,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; At BaliHai pier, Pol.Maj.Gen.Amphol Buarabphon- commander- was accompanied with Mr.Ronnakit Aekasingha- deputy mayor of Pattaya- to lead the officers to inspect beaches on Koh Lan island.

 

The police officers aimed to crack down on narcotics. In addition, the police officers also collected DNA of alien labor so that they would have their record because these aliens might commit crime in the future.

 

Plus, the officers made the record of motorcycle taxi, minibus and rental car on the island. While the risky places would be looked after by soldiers who keep safety.

 

Nowadays, Koh Lan island is a famous tourist attraction of Pattaya and there are 6,000-10,000 tourists coming there a day, while the number of residents are under 10,000. In addition, there are several of services such as restaurant, marine agency etc. which leads to the large number of alien labor on the island. As a result, it lacks of the officers who take care of services.
