Pattaya Official On Entertainment Venue Crackdown

Pattaya official cracks down 6 entertainment venus in Pattaya after they broke the official’s strict rule.

PATTAYA – March 30,2016 [PattayaDailyNews]; at 02.30am Mr.Chakorn Kanchanawatta- BangLamung chief district- ordered Flying Officer Poradit Chitramwong-deputy chief of prevention- and police officers to clamp down 6 entertainment venues in Pattaya after the official had been complained by the villagers.


The officers inspected Twin Oasis, Lebanese, Maomai, Ball Ka Brighton and Kebtawan. In addition, some of these operators had been already inspected and prosecuted because they sold alcohol over time limit and had teenage customers. Upon inspection the officers found contraband liquor, 50 hookahs and its tobacco.

Later the police officers went to inspect the last venue Chorching Teedang, it’s 05.00am but the bar still opened. There were a big group of teenagers front of the bar and it opened loud music.


The police officers commanded them to stop the music and started inspection. Upon inspection the operator has 5 teenage employees and 2 night owls didn’t have their ID cards. As a result, the police officers took the manager to police station in order to prosecute.

Chief district revealed that the official discussed to each other about the issue and inspected these operators several times; however, they still didn’t care. However, the official would have to close the operators further.
