Pattaya Motopunks Assault Chase Down Their Litigants

The motopunks used a car to crosscut their litigants, making them lose control over their motorcycle. The motopunk gang then assaulted the two litigants, leaving them severely injured.

PATTAYA – May 26, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; At around the ‘Sawang Rescue Team’ of Pattaya was informed that a group of teenagers had a fight in front of a 7-Eleven shop at Soi Nern Plub Whan. It was reported that there were two teenagers severely injured. The rescue team immediately dispatched a team to treat the injured.

When the rescue team arrived at the scene, the rescue team saw two men lying down injured in front of a 7-Eleven shop. Local residents surrounded the incident, curious of what had happened earlier. The rescue team then swiftly gave the injure first-aid before sending them to a local hospital. The two men were identified as 23 year-old Somchan Klangnoi and 24 year-old Somchai Mingkwan.

After questioning witnesses, it was known that the two men were driving their motorcycle from Sukumvit Rd. to Soi Nern Plub Whan, but not long after they had entered the Soi, a car was chasing them along with 10 other motorcycles. The car then crosscut the two men’s motorcycle, making them lose control over their vehicle. When they fell down their motorcycle, the group of motopunks who chased them down with their motorcycle, assaulted them with both fists, feet and weapons.

As for Police Colonel Supachai Puikaewkum, Director of Banglaumg Police station said that he ordered the investigation and detective team to track down the suspects. Police are now questioning more witnesses and are also looking at CCTV footage around the area.
