Pattaya Mayor Launches 2nd Year White Project

Pattaya Mayor has opened the Pattaya White Project for the 2nd year. The project is designed to strengthen the community by combating drug problems and other issues in the community.

PATTAYA – October 2, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at multipurpose field, central Pattaya beach, Chonburi province, Mr. Itthiphon Khumpluem (Pattaya Mayor) chaired the Pattaya White project for the 2nd year according to a slogan of “Close in on Our Beloved Pattaya, 2nd Year” there were representatives the local communities in Pattaya city, educational institutes of Pattaya city as well as representatives of government sectors, private sectors, business sectors, department stores, shops, etc. came to join in the opening ceremony.

 

The Pattaya White project is to create awareness about their society and city and to strengthen the community to be a clean and pleasant society by preventing and solving drug problem permanently. This project is to support the community in various forms like households, communities, educational institutes and enterprises.

The work details of this activity consist of 1. To educate the society and community to overcome narcotics 2. For the community to be on the watch for drug and other related problems 3. To arrange training courses to provide monitoring and knowledge for community leaders with speaking skill training and Ratchasi Phithak Rat activity (means The Lion Protects People Activity). All activities will be run from October 2014 – February 2015.
