Pattaya Lady Boys Pick Pocket Korean Tourist

2 lady boys who pick pocketed a Korean tourist’s in Pattaya where immediately arrested after the police were passing by at the time of the incident. They had been arrested a week ago for the same crime.

PATTAYA – June 12, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 2.20 a.m., while Pol.Capt. Nitithorn Rattanasuchanan (Deputy Inspector of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was mobilizing forces of police team to prevent crime in Pattaya they came to the beginning of Soi 6, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, they found bystanders had captured 2 lady boys that had pick pocketed a foreign tourist.

 

Upon questioning the 2 lady boys they told police their names were Mr. Naroon Sukhom, aged 27 and Mr. Sonthaya Srijanplaeng, aged 27, and confessed to the theft. The victim was identified as Mr. Kim, aged 66, Korean nationality.

 

Mr Kim (the victim) told the police that he was walking back to his room when a motorbike came past him with 2 lady boys on who then pulled up in front of him. The passenger then got off walked over to him and offered him sexual services, he also fondled the tourist and tried to pick pocketed his wallet from inside his trouser pocket, but the tourist resisted and was helped by some bystanders as the police were passing by who immediately arrested the lady boys.

 

Upon question the 2 defendants the police found out that they were part of a pickpocket gang who would target foreign tourists’ and they had been arrested several times for the same crime. They were arrested a week ago for the same crime and were bailed. Therefore, the police detained the 2 defendants to be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.
