Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2013

Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2013 was again a great success with representatives from 4 countries displaying their fireworks in the sky over Pattya bay.

PATTAYA – November 29, 2013 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 9.00 p.m. Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem (Chairman of Chonburi Provincial Administration Organization), Mr. Itthiphol Khunpluem (Lord Mayor of Pattaya city), Mr. Atthaphol Wannakit (Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Pattaya office) and Mr. Angkul Srikallayanaboot (Assistant Managing Director of Marketing Communication Group of Thai Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (public)) opened Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2013 at central Pattaya beach. There were many Thai and foreign tourists enjoying the festival which caused a lot of traffic congestion.

The first part of the display was fireworks from Taiwan and Japan lasting for 20 minutes and the second part of the display was fireworks from Switzerland and Japan lasting for 20 minutes. The displays took place over the bay of Pattaya and were very impressive.

Mr. Itthiphol Khunpluem (Lord Mayor of Pattaya city) revealed that Pattaya International Fireworks Festival this year is well cooperated by Chonburi Provincial Administration Organization, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thai Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (public) it’s an activity that lots of tourists come to see especially during high season and the New Year festival. He believed that this festival could generate around 200 million THB for the local economy.
