Pattaya immigration office win top award

Pattaya - 14th October. The Pattaya Immigration Office has received an award for the best Police Immigration Of The Year 2008.

At the police immigration office, Jomtien Soi 5, Pol.Col. Ittipol Ittisaranchai, Chief of Pattaya Immigration Department, revealed that Pattaya Immigration office had won the accolade of top position at the superintendent operational level.

Pol.Col. Ittipol Ittisaranchai received the prestigious award on Police Day, 13th October, from Pol.Gen. Patcharawat Wongsuwan, the commander in chief of The Royal Thai Police, on behalf of the Pattaya Immigration Department.

Pol.Col. Ittipol Ittisaranchai said The Police Station For People project has been established since 1998 by three sections of the police organization: The Immigration Bureau, Thai Police Investigation Bureau and Border Patrol Police Bureau.

This is the first year that the Immigration Bureau has joined the project by selecting the best immigration office from all over the country.

 

 Pol.Col. Ittipol Ittisaranchai explained that being the number one immigration office in Thailand had been achieved through good management of human resources and the operation of the Internet system, which has been well coordinated, and included financial support from government officers.

He also added that the Immigration Office has been supported by the local private sector which has at times provided much useful advice.
