Pattaya Hotel Manager Crashes Car into 6 Parked Cars

A Pattaya hotel manager who was driving whilst drunk crashed his car into 6 parked vehicles severely damaging them. He was taken to the police station for a breath test.

PATTAYA – November 12, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 1.00 a.m., Pol.Lt. Anocha Nanthachai (Inquiry official of Pattaya city police station) was notified that there was a car which had collided with many cars that were parked on the side. The incident occurred at an entrance of Bella Villa Hotel, Pattaya third road, north Pattaya, Moo 6 Tambon Na Kluea, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, so he rushed to inspect at scene.


At an incident the officer found a black Toyota Vios car, license no. Khor Phor 4493 Chon Buri, which was parked in the middle of road and was severely damaged. Also Mr. Kiattisap Malahom, aged 46, a hotel manager of Dusit Thani hotel who was the driver was still in the car and was very drunk.


Approximately 100 meters away in front of S.N. apartment, the officer found 2 cars and 2 pick-up trucks were also severely damaged, moreover, in a parking lot of Thai Massage Center shop which was located on an opposite side of road, there were a public van and a tour bus of Leelanuch Co., Ltd. This had also been severely damaged.

Mr. Rungroj Oum-erb, aged 43, a tour bus driver, told the police that before the incident occurred he had parked his bus on the side of road in front of the incident hotel and was sleeping when a crashed into the back of his tour bus before colliding with another 4 cars which were parked in front of an apartment and then finally came to a stop after colliding with a 1 public van.


Initially, Pol.Lt. Anocha had taken Mr. Kiattisap the car driver to the police station to be prosecuted further and also to measure his alcohol blood level and if found to be over the limit he will charged for drunk driving and causing damage to other people’s property.
