Thursday 1st October 2009 [Pattaya Daily News]: – All of the five Holiday Inn hotels (including the four already established in Bangkok are owned by the Thai ?Erawan Group, who have been amazingly successful in the hotel industry. This has come about by hard work and good decision making, so if you think that the official opening was a big glitzy affair, then think again! The CEO and the large executive team utilised this day to have a high level conference in Pattaya new Holiday Inn, where they could put forward new ideas to attain perfection.

The Pattaya Holiday In opening day had to be seen to be believed, with groups of visitors from most S.E. Asian countries, (including China), steadily streaming into the hotel and everything running like clockwork. It was very obvious that all of the staff members have been very highly trained, and tested their considerable skills during the ?soft opening period in September, that saw only a few guests.

The 100% occupancy rate must have pleased the Pattaya Director of Sales, Supattra Rojjanteepthat, and all of the Erawan Group Directors enormously; – so how did they do this Their secret lies in target marketing corporate customer sector from a variety of countries, including Japan, China, Indonesia & Malaysia etc, to name just a few. It is highly probable that the Holiday Inn hotel chain, has specialist expertise in this market area, and has used it to full advantage, as such a high occupancy in Pattaya at this time of year is virtually unknown.

As a place to be, the Pattaya Holiday Inn? rates very highly, and this is very obvious as soon as you enter the large spacious lobby, with its high ceilings and plenty of attentive staff, just ready and waiting to help you. Likewise the ground floor coffee shop, upstairs restaurant and mezzanine area on the second floor are extremely spacious, so guests have the feeling of total freedom. This is rarely seen, as most hotels and restaurants have a tendency to cram as much as they can into a given area, so this is a big plus for disabled guests in wheelchairs.

Families with children will love the Pattaya Holiday Inn because they can go out in the town and safely leave their offspring in the fully supervised Kids Club that has everything from tiny-tots? toys to on-line computers. Furthermore, there are even Play Stations? in the Family Suites, so that adults can watch their favourite movie, without being disturbed by the kids.

Other amenities for adults include a very well equipped Fitness Centre, plus the Ti-Tree Spar, where one can enjoy a relaxing massage or take some specialist beauty therapy. As well as large swimming pools for adults and kids, the spacious, well laid out restaurant on the same floor offers fantastic views of Pattaya Bay and the nearby islands that really come to life at sunset.

To sum it all up the best description of the new Pattaya Holiday Inn is that it is simply stunning in a quiet and unobtrusive way, without forcing its many features onto its customers, and its position next to the quieter northern end of Pattaya Bay is absolutely ideal for a relaxing stay in Pattaya
