At 06.30, on September 16th, 2008, Pol.Maj. Thanadet Duengtapiyachai, Banglamung investigator, received a report ofa brutally shooting case which occurred in front of Soi 14, Pattaya-Naklua road. Pol.Lt.Col.Saralphat Yossombat, deputy superintendent, led the police team with Banglamung hospital doctor and Sawang Boriboon rescue, rushed to the incident.

At the crime scene, Mr. Chawalit Plubpla or nickname “Tum Klongplub” (23) was found dead, lying in a pool of blood in the middle of the street. He was shot by .9mm at behind his right ear. His girlfriend, Miss Panumas Petch-keaw, (19) and friends, were crying by the side of his deceased body. 50 meters away, police discovered 6 of .9mm bullet casings on the ground.

Another injury, Mr. Metha Rassamee or nickname “Big” (23) was shot on his left shoulder, had already been sent to Banglamung hospital.

Witness, Mr. Supachai Mooryathai (17), a friend of the death person, told police that he and his friends[6 people on 3 motorbikes], were coming out from Noir Pub, North Pattaya, on their way to have a late night meal at Naklua market.

While they were passing Aksorn Technology School (P-BAC), Pattaya-Naklua road, two teens on a red Honda Wave 110 motorbike were chasing them with a very high speed. The man on the pillion seat pulled out a gun and shot at them about 10 times. Mr. Chawalit was shot on the back of his right ear and Mr. Methee was shot on his left shoulder. Mr. Chawalit could not stand the injury and fell off the motorbike dead when they had reached Soi 14, Pattaya-Naklua road.

“The motive of being chased and shot was probably because of the discontented situation with another gang about the girls in the pub. Chawalit [who was shot dead], was a working man and never had a dispute with anybody.” Mr. Supachai said.

Police had made a record and would sketch the pictures of the suspects. Hopefully, they would be able to bring them to justice very soon
