Pattaya Full of Snatchers

Two robberies have taken place in a short period of time in Pattaya. The police have received many complaints about this type of crime.

PATTAYA-21st August- [PattayaDailyNews] at 20.00 pm Pol.Lt.Chakkrit Chantakham- inspector of Pattaya police station- was notified that a man had his gold necklace snatched. The incident took place on north Pattaya 3rd.

 

At the scene the police officers found Mr Somdan Khamma aged 45 who was waiting for the police. Upon questioning him he said that he was getting out of his car while talking on the phone when a motorbike taxi went passed, the rider then turned around and rode past him again but this time snatched his gold necklace with an amulet which was valued about 120,000 baht before the rider fled away. However, the police officers checked the CCTV which had recorded the incident.

 

However, the police have received many complaints that there are far too many snatching incidents taking place in Pattaya. Also the police would like to warn people to take care of their belongings.
