Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo Starts With Flower Arrangement Competition

The Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo 2011 kicks off at the PEACH, Royal Cliff Beach Pattaya. The flower arrangement was the first competition of the international food and hotel show. Magnificent, multicolor, richly scented flowers galore. The former champion, the Sign hotel, annouced that they would defend their 2010 championship title.

Pattaya, August, 5 2011[Pattaya Daily News]; PEACH, Royal Cliff Beach Resort Pattaya. The annual hotel flower arrangement competition, the first event at the Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo 2011 featuring food, beverage, hotel services and competitions with Thai and international chefs and hoteliers.This year’s flower arrengement theme was pink; the lively and cheerful colour to honor the HM King Bhumipol’s 84 year anniversary and honoring the HM Queen Sirikit for her upcoming birthday, August 12.

All together 14 teams hotel teams attended the competition. The former champion, the Sign Hotel, arranged the flowers and the pale pink decorations in the drop shape by the theme of “HM the King’s Virtue and Protection”.

As for the Ravintara Beach Resort and Spa Pattaya they chose the colorful and large queen of flowers, the ochid to be decorated in the concept of “Rhythm of Love”

The competitors used their skills, style and experience to arrange the decorations of the beautiful flowers during the stipulated of time of 180 minutes.

The judges were Mr Suthep Wongthaworn, Mr Thakun Anurak and Mr Annop Karawek.The result of the flower arrangement competition will be announced later.
