PATTAYA-July 10, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 10.30 am alongside the railway road, Pattaya Daily News reporters were informed by a cassava farmer that people were leaving rubbish at the entrance to his farm. He also said that it sets a bad image of Pattaya and it affects the environment, plus officials had stayed silent on the matter.

Mr Pongsit Wannakotikul a 50 year old cassava farmer revealed that these selfish people had left their rubbish in front of his farm for almost a decade and he had to hire labours to clean it up. He had the rubbish cleaned up many times but people were still leaving it there even though he had put up a sign warning people not to drop litter. He also said that Pattaya is a tourism city so everyone needs to take care by keeping it clean.

Therefore he’d like to complain to the Pattaya officers to solve the problems as soon as possible.
However the farms location is in a suburban area and there are obstacle for municipal officers to overcome. The officers should solve the problem by increasing dustbins in the area.
