Pol.Lt.Col. Anan Thamachaikul, was informed at 07.00, on September 18th, 2008, that a man had fallen off a staircase and died. The incident occurred at Suksom Apartment, located at 570/121, Soi Moo Baan Roy-lang, Naklua, Chonburi.

Officials and Sawang Boriboon rescue found a deceased body of Mr. Prasong Kamlueng (72), from Bangkok, a security guard chief, was lying dead at the foot of staircase. He had a wound on his forehead and his neck was broken. A pair of slippers and broken glass of louvers from room No. 16, next to the staircase, were found on top of the stairs.

Apparently, he had crashed against the glassed louvered window, and fallen down. A bag of food was also found broken on the floor.

Miss Pathanon Jindadueng (30) apartment caretaker was asked to investigate. She said that, Mr. Prasong had been staying in room No. 30 for 20 years. Everyday, he would go to work at 6 pm. and come back at around 6 am.

Presumably, Mr. Prasong had finished work and went out to buy some food. He must had been fainted on the way up to his room due to old age then fell down the staircase and died. Nobody actually had seen the accident, but only heard a sound of something had fallen down the staircase. They ran out to have a look and found Mr. Prasong was lying dead on the floor.

Officials assumed 2 aspects of the death that Mr. Prasong might have a congenital disease and old age. He probably did not have enough sleep and very tired, causing him fainted and fell off the staircase. Police would send his body to Banglamung hospital to be examined and inform his relative.
