Pattaya Department Store Worker Attacked By Thug With Sword

A male employee of one well known department store in Pattaya was attacked by a middle age thug who used a sword. The attack happened at a noodle shop where the victim was severely injured.

PATTAYA – March 14, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 3.00 a.m. there was an incident where a man was attacked by a thug who used a sword severely injuring him so the rescuers of Sawang Boriboon Tharmma Satharn Foundation, Pattaya city, sent him to Banglamung hospital, Chonburi Province for treatment. The police team of Nong Prue police station, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi Province, went to inspect the victim in the emergency room of Banglamung hospital. He was identified as a Mr. Worrawit Saeng-aroon or Oat, aged 21, he had sustained wounds to his body 1 was very deep and over 20 cm in length on his back, a 15 cm wound to his lower left arm and 1 wound to the nape of his neck.

Upon questioning the victim the police perceived that before incident occurred Mr. Worawit (the injured victim) and his friends were sitting eating noodles at a noodle shop near the market in Soi Khao Ta Lo in the area of Nong Prue police station. Later for no reason they were assaulted by the group of assailants the ring leader being a Mr. Bang, aged approximately 40, and his 4-5 partisans that were eating noodles at the table next to the group of Mr. Worawit.
An eyewitness said that one of the men in Mr. Bang (the assailants) group was dressed in a volunteer police uniform. Mr. Bang (who attacked the victim with the sword) ordered his understudies to get the sword from his car and then attacked Mr. Worawit and his friends with it. After the attack Mr. Bang and his gang of thugs fled the scene. The rescuers sent Mr. Worawit to Banglamung hospital where he told police that he had no problems with Mr. Bang and his gang of thugs.

The police assumed that the cause of this incident might be down to the way they looked at each other before the attacked ensued. However, the police are now urgently hunting Mr. Bang and his group of thugs to arrest them and prosecute them further according to the Thai law.
