Pattaya City will open up an information service Call Center 1337

At Pattaya City Hall, on 14 September, Mayor Niran Wattanasartsathorn and Mr. Suthep Srisuwan, Assistant Managing Director of TOT Co., Ltd. both signed in the joint venture project for new service Call Center 1337 with the service rate at 3 baht only per call throughout the country. It would be an information center for both Thai and tourist visitors to Pattaya City.

Mr. Suthep revealed that with just one service number 1337, would be much more convenient and fast service to the tourists around Pattaya.

With the 4 digits number it is much easier to remember and with just this number tourists will be able to have access or ask any kind of information, whether it be looking up for various places or making a complain. This is to change the old process by providing much more speedy and up-to-date service to the public.

Mayor Niran Wattanasartsathorn said that he had considered and had prepared a development plan to improve Call Center project to provide the tourist and general public conveniences. This project also aims to increase the efficiency in Pattaya City in the sense of providing best & quality services and resolving of various problem.

Expenses for the first stage of this project in the first 3 years would be approximately 80 Million Baht, Mayor Niran said. For equipments 40 Million Baht, as for the rest of the expenses for the first 1-2 years as estimated by TOT who are in charge of the management.

There will be total of 29 Call Center staff, they would work in 3 shifts and communication would be done in various languages. Telecommunication System will be set up which would include voice-communicating, communication via information, as well as the setting up Call Center using only one number 1337 at the fees of 3 baht per call all over the country.
