Pattaya City made preparation for the “Go-Kart” racing competition as a selling

Pattaya City will organize “ Go Kart” racing competition, on the main road of Public Park to create a new selling point for Pattaya Tourism for the high coming season.

Pattaya City Council, Mr. Pisai Panomwan Na Ayuddhaya, Chairman of Pattaya Tourism and Sport disclose that in the past, Emotion Management Company had proposed an idea of Go-Kart racing on the level road at the Queen Sirikij Public Park. The objective is to create selling point as an opening activity to welcome the approaching high season. The committee has agreed with a resolution that they should push thru the plan now.

The competition will be on 28-29 October, at the Public Park, imitating the Formula 1 competition held in Monticarlo, Monocco. There are about 25 participants who will join the fun game. The race will start from South Pattaya Bridge, heading towards the mark directions then making a u-turn back in front to Pattaya City Sea Rescue Building, and come back the same way passing the South Pattaya Pierre.

Participants will make two rounds, the best and fast driver who will first reach the finish line will be declared as winner.       

Mr. Pisai added, that as the High Season is fast approaching the Go-Kart racing competition will add more life and color to the City. It will also uphold public relations for all tourist attraction in Pattaya City.

It is expected that launching of new activity during the high season will make Pattaya much livelier.
