Pattaya City Hall Announces 5th Thai Volleyball League

A conference was held at Pattaya City Hall on Tuesday to announce and organise preparations for the 5th Thai volleyball league and how the presence of the newly established team from Chon-Buri could be promoted to benfit the region.

Pattaya 10th February 2010 [Pattaya Daily News] Pattaya City Deputy Mayor Mr. Watthana Jantarawaranon along with  Provincial Council Member Mr. Supap Intharagsa (Chon Buri Sport Association Secretary-General) and Chon Buri Volleyball Club Secretary General Mr. Klitsada Phutthiporphatkahajorn chaired a meeting at Pattaya City hall on Tuesday. The meeting, involving a host of professional volleyball players discussed arrangements for the organisation of the next volleyball competition and how to promote the event to benifit the Pattaya and Chon-Buri regions.

 

Due to the association of Chon Buri Provincial Administration with Chon Buri Sport Association, Eastern Technology School and Chon Buri volleyball Club they were able to send a male volleyball team to join the 5th Thailand Volleyball League which takes place from 30th January 2010 – 22nd May 2010. This arrangement was proposed to allow Pattaya’s youth and the people to promote themselves and keep healthy by participating in sports following the Chon Buri and Pattaya City’s Policy.

Mr. Watthana Jantarawaranon stated that Pattaya City was proud to announce the arrangement of the national sports competition whilst continuously raising the professional standards in honour of the regions people and will hopefully boosting tourism in the region at the same time.
