Pattaya Charity Pool Tournament Raises 600,000 THB

The Father Ray foundation held a charity pool Tournament at Legends Pool and Sports Bar in order to raise extra money to care for the children and the disabled at the foundation. The tournament was a great success raising over 600,000 THB.

PATTAYA – July 2, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 15.00 pm. At The Legends Pool and Sport bar, Mr Bundit Siritunyong-chair of Pattaya entertainment venue association- presided the opening ceremony of Pattaya Charity Pool Tournament 2014 with father Dr Picharnjai Sehree-vice president of Father Ray Foundation- and around 64 competitors and local pressmen. The tournament was held in order to generate money to help the 850 children at the Father Ray Foundation. The winner will receive a trophy and a high quality cue which will be presented by Mr Sonthaya Khunpleum-ex-ministry of culture. After the opening ceremony they took photos before starting the tournament. The first round was a knock-out stage which was the best of 5 games and the final round was best of 9 games.

During the final between Mr Jirawut Buathong and Mr.Manop Donrat Mr Jirawut Buathong was crowned as the winner and received a trophy and a cueand the runner up received a cue which was presented by Mr Ittipol Khunpleum-mayor of Pattaya. In addition Mr.Gabriel Burns finished 3rd and received a cup from Mr.Poramet Ngampichet-ex-Chonburi representative- and Mr.Bundit Siritunyong who finished 4th and received a cup which was presented by Mr Sakchai Tang-ho-chief district of Bang Lamung-.

The Pattaya Charity Pool Tournament 2014 raised 600,000 baht from application fees and business sectors.The money will be presented to the Father Ray foundation so it can be used to help the children and disabled people.
