Pattaya Cancer Stricken German Hangs Himself

German man suffering from cancer was found dead in his bed room with TV antenna tied around his neck.

PATTAYA – July 4, 2012 [Pattaya Daily News]; Pol. Capt. Jeerasak Aebfhaeng, Banglamung police station, Chonburi province was notified that foreign man had committed suicide in 52/107 Soi 7 Chokchai village 4, Moo 5, Banglamung.

At the scene a one story concrete house, with two bed rooms the police found the dead body of Mr. Timo Chudasch, 44, nationality German wearing only blue underwear and with a TV antenna around his neck connected to the window.The German man had died approximately for 5 hours earlier.

There was no sign of foul play. The police found a letter to his father which he had written before he committed suicide, saying that didn’t want to live any longer because he had been suffering from cancer for more than 3 years.

In the house the police also found Mr. Manfred Chudasch, 70, nationality German, the father of Mr. Timo.

Upon asking the neighbors they said, that the German and his son had rented the house for more than 1 year.

Normally, Mr. Timo always talked with neighbors but his father couldn’t speak English.

Mr. Timo told to his neighbors that he was suffering from cancer and asthma. He drank alcohol everyday.

The last evening before his death Mr. Timo also talked with the neighbors but without the signs of stress until his father shouted for help and asked the neighbors to call the police.

The father of Mr. Timo said that he slept in a different room.He never thought that his son would commit suicide. When he woke up he played with the dog outside the house and saw the light in his son’s bed room and then he saw the dead body hanging from the window. He hurried open the door of bed room to help his son. But to no avail. His son was already dead.

The police assumes that Mr. Timo committed suicide because he was suffering from cancer.

An autopsy will be performed to find the exact cause of death of Mr. Timo Chudasch. The German embassy will be informed accordingly.
