Pattaya Baht Bus Driver Hands In Hand Bag

A Pattaya Baht bus driver who found a Myanmar girl’s hand bag on his bus after she left it behind handed it into the Chonburi Cooperative Baht Bus Office. The bag contained around 50,000 Baht in cash and belongings.

PATTAYA – August 18, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 15.30 the reporters were notified from Mr.Thawat Puekboonnak-President of Chonburi Cooperative Baht buses that a Baht bus driver had found a handbag which belonged to a foreigner.

 

Later reporters met Mr.Kornpat Theerapraipruek aged 48 the bus driver who had found the hand bag and sent to Mr.Thawat. The hand bag contained a passport work permit card of Miss.Khaing Khin Oo aged 19 from Myanmar, 22,380 baht, a gold necklace, gold bracelet and 2 gold rings which were valued about 50,000 baht.

Mr.Kornpat revealed that he had picked up Miss.Khaing and her child in front of Num Chai shop and they got off near Soi 33 alley, Pattaya-Naklua road. Later a foreign couple found Miss.Khaing’s handbag so they gave it to him before he sent the hand bag to Mr.Thawat in order to find the owner.

 

Soon after Miss.Khaing and her relatives went to Chonburi Cooperative Baht bus office to collect her hand bag. She thanked the driver for being so kind in keeping her bag for her.
