Pattaya, the 30th of January 2010 [Pattaya Daily News]: Pattaya’s North Star Library is located on Sukhumvit Road between Central Pattaya & North Pattaya, close to the “Redemptorist Centre” (Mahathai School), and the Saturday activities will start at 10.00 am with the official opening for their 5th anniversary.

At this book fair opening, you can bring or buy books, enjoy light refreshments, and at 1.30 pm there will be an open discussion to help both readers & writers in Thai or English. From 4.00 – 5.00 pm you can sit back and relax to folk songs from the “Mahathai Band.”

Sunday again sees a 10.00 am start and at 1.30 pm there will be a miming show by the “Bangkok Drama Group,” finally followed by a closing ceremony at 3.00 pm. This is a great program of entertainment, and even if you are not an avid “book worm,” you will be sure to find something of interest and also meet new friends.
