Pattaya investigator Police Major Suriya Wariwong was notified at 1:40 am and dispatched a team to investigate.

At the scene , police found Mr. Sitisak Boonma [17], residing at 79, Bankanoon, Kuntararak, Srisaket province, in a frightened state waiting for their arrival. He told the police that he was in the parking lot talking on his mobile phone to his girlfriend, who lives in up country.

Unexpectedly, two men, in their twenties, riding on a motorbike with no number plates, passed by where Mr. Sitisak was standing. They then turned around and rode straight at him. The man on the back seat got off the bike, pulled a gun and pointed it at Mr. Sitisak, demanding he hand over his I-Phone.

The incident happened in front of many people but as the robber was armed, no one dared to do anything. The two robbers sped away with Mr. Sitisak’s mobile.

Police alerted city patrols on the radio but the thieves managed to disappear into the night without trace.
