Pattaya’s Popular Wine Experience

The Amari Hotel Resort at the northern end of Pattaya Beach Road certainly proved a point when it held its most popular ever “Wine Experience” evening, featuring red wines and a delicious buffet dinner, which was staged in the “Ice Bar” of the Amari Tower.

Pattaya, 1st February 2011, PDN: – A record breaking crowd of around 150 guests filled the “Ice Bar” and even overflowed into the reception area, in what was a very popular evening of entertainment, complete with a duet of singers. Although normally held outdoors in the Amari’s spacious garden, this event was one of the first to be held indoors and certainly did not detract from its popularity.

The featured red wines came from a big variety of countries including France, South Africa, Chile and Australia, so it was truly an international showcase of fine wines. For those who did not fancy red wines, there was also a small selection of white and sparkling wines of equally high quality, to compliment the delicious food dishes. Goulash soup, the carvery, savories, pizza pieces and mouth watering desserts were just a few of the treats that Amari’s chefs dreamed up to tempt their visitors.

Visitors came from near and far to support this monthly wine night, which at less than Bt. 1,000 per person has set the standard for these ever popular events, with the Amari’s forward thinking strategies. The Amari manager David Cummings and his team are to be congratulated on “doing it right” every time, when it comes to the presentation of their superb wine evenings. Pattaya is very lucky to have these prestigious “value for money” monthly events, and while other venues hold similar events, the Amari seems to be leading the way and setting the pace with their perfect performances.
