PATTAYA-May 14, 2014- Mr.Sinchai Wattanasartsathorn- chief of P.B.T.A.-dispatched documents about the progress of dismantling an illegal building to Mr.Sakchai Tang-Ho- sheriff of Bang Lamung- and Mr.Ronnakit Ae-kasingha- Deputy mayor of Pattaya-. P.B.T.A. members, Pattaya congress members and business sectors who had discussed the problem about the Boutique Hotel in South Pattaya.

Mr.Sinchai said that the hotel has been a big problem for a year because an extension was built without a permission. The hotel is still open and continuing to do business despite it being ordered to be demolished because it was built illegally and it’s a danger to the public and customers.

Mr.Sakchai said that he had ordered the workers to dismantle some part of the hotel at the end of last year and ordered them to stop business and dismantle the building expansion.

In addition they had ordered Provincial Waterworks Authority and Provincial Electricity Authority to stop water and electricity to the business. However the departments involved didn’t strictly enforce them, plus they also gave them 180 days to dismantle the extension on zone by themselves. Now the 180 days was up.

On May 15th Bang Lamung’s officers and business sectors went back to check the building and found that they hadn’t dismantled the extension like they said they would do.

In addition the owner is a foreigner and he or she needs to respect the law.
