Officials Track Relocating Of Pattaya Pier

PATTAYA-Recently- [PattayaDailyNews]; NCPO officers had discussed about untidiness in Bali Hai pier and the official has policy to renovate the area and bring back public area in order to effectively utilize.

 

On October 25, Mr Chaowalit Saenguthai, deputy governor of Chonburi, was accompanied with Mr Direk Maimongkol, senior deputy chief of Bang Lamung district, and officers to inspect the progress of project to relocate 2 piers consisted of private pier in Soi Ko Pai road and Jomtien pier.

 

Mr Chaowalit revealed that the officials inspected the area according to order of Military Circle 14th so that the officials track the progress of the project of pier relocation.

The new pier has 14 Rais which can support around 500 boats; however, it would be complicated when the operators want to move their boat.

 

Mr Chaowalit added that current pier located in public area and it always cause traffic congestion during operator moves their boat. However, the operators will not be allowed to dock or set sail in Jomtien and Pattaya Beach.
