Officials Raid Hoteliers Operating Without Permit

BangLamung chief inspected and closed 2 hotels after operating without permit.

PATTAYA – February 14,2017 [PattayaDailyNews]; Mr Naris Niramaiwong, BangLamung chief, led officers to inspect Pattaya hoteliers operating without permit according to policy of ministry of internal affair.

 

The officers inspected The Beach Front Hotel and Baboona Beach Front Living which located on Pattaya beach road. Upon inspection the operators had no permit to show the officers; therefore, the officers had to detain front staff to police station.

 

Mr Naris revealed that there are around a thousand of hotels in Pattaya; however, only 239 hotels have rightly registered with official. Previously, the operators complained the official about the situation so they have to cope the situation effectively. In addition, the operator should be jail 1 year or fined 10,000 per day operating without permit.
